Toothless is the only living Night Fury, the rarest and most intelligent dragon species there is. He is the first dragon to ever be trained, and is best friends with Hiccup. The two bond when Hiccup helps him fly again, and the two lead the battle against the Red Death. Toothless is playful, curious and protective, and like Hiccup, has a dry sense of humor.
